Q) What's your favourite part of your debut, Bernie Thinks in Boxes, and why will little readers love it?

📕 My favourite part is the solution Bernie finds to her problem. I love her courage and creativity in finding a way to be a good friend that suits her needs, too. Kids will love this book for its unique perspective, encouragement to be themselves, and the stunning illustrations that gift a new discovery with every reading.

Q) Do you have any advice for aspiring children's book authors?

🎢 Don’t forget why you write! Don’t lose your love for writing to the sometimes long and frustrating quest for a book deal. Make friends with feedback. Don’t be afraid to hear it, to give it, and sometimes, to ignore it!

Q) How does it feel that your book launch month is finally here?

💙 A(RGH)mazing! ‘Argh’ because wow, who knew how intense it was to launch a book! And ‘amazing’ because I feel truly honoured to have been able to bring this book into the world.
